Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to pay-per-video payments and pre-paid video balance purchased on dmlai.com via our payment processor (Stripe), and to any legacy Pro subscriptions.

1. Try free first

DMLAI offers a free daily plan so you can fully test the Service before paying. We encourage you to use the free plan to confirm it meets your needs before upgrading.

2. Video generation payments are FINAL

Before any talking AI video is made, DMLAI analyzes your script and shows you the exact length and exact price of the video. You only pay after seeing this total. The moment your video starts generating, we immediately purchase computing time from third-party AI providers for your specific video — this cost is real and cannot be reversed.

⚠️ For this reason, once a video has started generating, the payment (or account balance) used for it is non-refundable. This applies even if you do not like the resulting style, voice, motion, lip-sync, likeness or overall quality, or if you submitted the wrong script or photo by mistake. Please review your photo, script, voice and the price preview carefully before you pay.

3. Failed generations

If a generation fails because of a fault on our side and no video is produced, the amount used is automatically returned to your account balance. If that did not happen, email us within 7 days with your payment ID and we will re-credit your balance or, where appropriate, refund the payment.

4. Unused pre-paid balance

Some features — such as real 3D motion in the AI Video generator — run on pre-paid credits that you buy in packs. Balance is consumed as you generate (1 credit = 1 second of video; Pro motion uses 2 per second). Because every generation triggers real third-party compute cost, balance is non-refundable once used. An entirely unused pack may be refunded if you request it within 7 days of purchase; partially used packs may have the unused portion refunded at our reasonable discretion. Balance has no cash value and is non-transferable. The free video, image and reel tools do not use balance.

5. Duplicate or mistaken charges

If you were charged in error, charged twice, or paid but could not use the Service due to a technical fault on our side, contact us within 7 days for review and an eligible refund. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days (timing depends on the processor and your bank).

6. Legacy subscriptions

DMLAI no longer sells subscriptions. If you have an older Pro subscription, you can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future renewals and access remains until the end of the current paid period. Subscription payments already made are non-refundable once the period has begun, except as required by law.

7. How talking-video pricing works

Talking AI video is billed per second of finished video — because the AI generates every frame of the speaking face (about 30 frames per second), a longer clip genuinely costs more computing time. Before anything is charged, DMLAI shows you the exact length and exact price of the clip you are about to make.

(a) Standard quality is charged at the base per-second rate; Pro motion (natural face + hand gestures) and 720p HD are charged at twice the base rate because the engines cost about twice as much; (b) in the multi-scene AI Video generator every scene is a separate paid clip — a 5-scene video costs about five times a 1-scene video; (c) the length is estimated from your script (about 14 characters of speech per second) and you always see it before paying; (d) free tools — faceless Reel Maker, AI images, captions, hooks, hashtags, voiceover, dubbing and subtitles — never consume video balance.

8. Try before you pay (no-waste tools)

To avoid paying for a clip you will not like, DMLAI gives you free checks before generation: a voice preview (listen to the exact AI or cloned voice at no video cost), a completeness check that blocks generation until the photo, script and settings are valid, and a confirmation screen showing length, price and what to watch out for. We strongly recommend using the voice preview and a short test clip before making long videos.

9. Voice cloning

If you upload or record a voice sample, DMLAI creates a temporary AI clone of that voice to speak your script. You must own the voice or have the speaker's permission — cloning another person's voice without consent is not allowed and may violate local law. Samples must be at least about ten seconds of clear speech; shorter or noisy samples may fail to clone, in which case the video is made with the selected AI voice instead (this is not a defect and is not refundable once the video is produced).

10. How to request

Email info.dmlai@gmail.com with your payment ID and the email used at purchase. We aim to respond within 2–3 business days.
